"Sam Ogren (727 403 5091), one of SEIU's scab staff had a less than successful visit to Kaiser Santa Clara yesterday. He has one friend on campus: Diane Barton, a so-called "Shop Steward" who has been on medical leave for most of the last year and who favors boxed wine for breakfast.Here is a picture of Diane and Sam outside the campus after having been chased off by real UHW Shop Stewards. Diane picks her nose and smokes a blunt while Sam whines about being "attacked" by union leaders. Sam did make one more friend while he was there - the HR person standing behind him defended him and brought him back on campus later in the day.
This makes a lot of sense. When Sam was being confronted by union members, he nearly cried "I can't handle all these hostile people attacking me." But he felt warm and safe meeting behind closed doors with HR. Sound familiar? Sound like Andy Stern?
