Hey kids, it's Friday afternoon, and as Greg Pullman likes to say, let's "stop with the politics" for a moment.
Perez Stern has a variety of hobbies and interests. As well as loving to blog and get emails, he also loves music, especially local music. This week Perez was super excited to discover a great young West Coast rap artist who is one of our very own!
Krooked, aka Alex Espinoza is a talented rapper and hospital rep, who we're glad to see is "back up in the hustle" after being out on sick leave while the trusteeship went down. SEIU must be thrilled to enlist the services of Krooked, who promises to walk the walk until he dies (badly needed at SEIU these days). He even has his own manifesto. Perhaps he can perform at the 2012 SEIU Convention?Perez recommends Krooked's work on Mistah B's "Tripin", and his solo track "Blah Blah Blah". You can see both at his Myspace page.
