Lies and desperation.

On Wednesday April 21 (scab staffer) Oscar Delgado and (scab lost timer) Njoki Woods met with me to discuss why SEIU was a good union worthy of my support. During this hour long meeting, Oscar told me that (former UHW E Board member and NUHW activist) Tony Aidukas is no longer supporting NUHW and has joined with SEIU. In fact, Oscar said that Tony was most likely going to this Saturday's SEIU meeting in Los Angeles (scheduled for the same time as the San Francisco NUHW convention).

I found all this rather strange since I have heard Tony talk about his awful experience with SEIU in Tenet bargaining and his efforts over the past two years to meet with SEIU Executive Board members to discuss the secret deals that SEIU tried to do with Tenet.

I reached out to Tony directly to ask him if what Oscar said was true, was he going to the LA meeting and has he decided to get on the SEIU "band wagon". Tony told me that “NO”, he was not going to the Saturday meeting and had NEVER told Oscar that he was going.

Oscar out and out lied to me. Rest assure, that prior to our local being put in trusteeship, stewards held the highest respect for their staff and leaders. Since the trusteeship, it is clear that SEIU's tradition of lies, deceit and top down approach --all the things we feared with SEIU have in fact turned out to be true. Please never have Oscar or Nojoki contact my members at Western Medical Center Anaheim. I intend to advise them all that SEIU staff lies to their members and cannot be trusted.

I am really looking forward to some reply from either of you since I have not received any responses to my emails from any one else running UHW.

Please see to it that you reply telling me why it is necessary to tell falsehoods to members in order to get them to agree to attend your Statewide Steward Council Meetings?
